The Society has been formed to perform one simple task, that is, to make getting information about Teddy Bears easier. In this day and age information is everywhere, but it is often difficult to find, navigate or understand. In the hopes of enlightenment and saving much needed time, all of your teddy bear resources are right here, allowing you more time to do what you want - whether it be tracking down an artist for a particular style of bear or a stockist of the latest bear figurine, even finding the elusive supplier of the perfect paw material.

There is also the hope that with the new ease of access to information, teddy bears will bring people together and engage them, not only in the cyberspace, but also in reality, as finding out about classes, workshops and events becomes so much easier and once again the flow of information benefits everyone.

The Teddy Bear Society's main aim is to provide a collective international information source and support base for arctophiles. Collectors, artists, suppliers and retailers alike all form part of the Society, all providing their own unique perspective on the world of teddy bears. The Teddy Bear Society is open to all, it has no allegiance to any particular entity, rather a supporter of all teddy bear endeavors.
